RLT Football Friday 27th January 2023

On Friday 27th January, the Year 3&4 footballers competed in the next set of league fixtures. Some highly competitive matches ensued with everyone representing their schools with pride and respect. Thank you to all the staff and spectators who made it happen.

Following the afternoon’s matches, the Year 5&6 teams took to the pitch. More exhilarating and fiercely contested fixtures followed; several results really putting the cat amongst the pigeons in terms of league standings. Once again, a big thank you to all the staff and spectators for making it another successful evening of football.

RLT Tag Rugby Event

On Friday 3rd February, 8 teams from across the Rutland learning trust came together to play in a Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby Festival.  It was fabulous to see that each school had brought a good number of girls in their squad, as the girls had gained confidence following their festival earlier in the year.  The focus of the tournament was England Rugby's TREDS ( Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship), which each team showed in their matches.  A big thank you to Oakham School who hosted the event.
